Борис Анисфельдcatalogue raisonnéBoris Anisfeld1878 - 1973Villa WourgaftsculpturesIn 1912/14, the young architect Moissei M. Sinyaver designed and built a neo-classical villa at No. 2A Krestovka, on Kammeny Island (Stony island), for the wife of the counsellor and banker A.M. Wourgaft. In 1915, Anisfeld decorated the villa, which remains inaccessible to researchers. Photos and sketches help us to understand Anisfeld's artistic conception.
